Partnerships Business Ownership FULL lesson includes assessment, lesson plan presentation & handout!

Everything you need to teach Sole traders and teach it well - perfect for an observation. Differentiated learning outcomes included on the presentation. The presentation would also be useful printed as some stage for revision for your learners. The two main activities include sorting advantages and disadvantages of sole trader ownership and an extended writing question. The lesson includes marking sheets that have space to match the work completed in this lesson to success criteria and space to give WWW and EBi (gap task). This is a FULL lesson; ideally a 'double' session. Starter, 2 main activities (including paired work), and a plenary. Includes a full lesson plan for your records or for whoever is observing you. Enjoy!

To get even more value, use the plenary from the last slide in some of your other lessons - it's not lesson specific and is quite a nice end to any lesson. Enjoy!

Plenary Wheel VERSION 2! 8 new ideas!

If you liked the first Plenary Wheel, things just got even better!! Version 2 is here, all new, USE ALONGSIDE VERSION ONE, NOT INSTEAD OF!! All your plenaries will be planned for months to come, if not longer!! See a video preview below BEFORE choosing to buy this TOP quality resource. Interactive, fun and engaging. A perfect end to the lesson! The plenary wheel is a PowerPoint file with a rotating wheel. Ask one of your students to shout STOP to select how the lesson ends. NO PLANNING involved. Just open the file and let your students decide. This wheel is the sequel to my original plenary wheel - it contains 8 NEW PLENARY activities that focus on the question “What have I learnt today”. It’s not a rebrand - so if you want both look for my bundle and then you’ll have SIXTEEN plenary activities - that’s your academic year sorted! The plenaries are: 60 seconds - tell a partner what you’ve learnt in a minute - timers includes. Picture review - draw how you feel/what you’ve learnt - template/handout included (print a bank of these ready!). Emoji review - select an emoji to summarise your learning today - template included if required (black and white or colour). Text message - write a reply to the text on the slide. 4-3-1, my take on the 5-5-1 review - write four sentences then whittle it down to just 1 word to summarise today’s lesson. Handout included, again print a stack ready! Red, Amber, Green - three sentence review of your learning today. Tell me three - answer the three summary questions about today’s learning. Status update - write a social media status to summarise your learning today. Macros must be enabled for the wheel to function, though the plenary activities can still be viewed without the wheel spinning (less exciting!). Enjoy!

No need for a computer if you’re teaching in a classroom - just some basic art supplies (pencils/crayons etc.). This resource includes a student example, student hand out, instructions and PowerPoint display. Enjoy.

Break-Even Introduction (Business Studies)

How to use Tarsia - A short beginners guide - Teaching and Learning Training Booklet

(0)
IMPORTANT: I have compiled this guide myself. All of the text is my own and the images are taken from me using the Tarsia software (which is free to download). I have got permission from Hermitech Lab to use the print screens within the guide and confirmed this does not break any licence agreement. They were more than happy to give permission for me to upload my guide to Tarsia and, I quote, "would like to thank you for your efforts, it's very important for us to know that our software is being used and useful." This is a short guide to using Tarsia, the free Teaching and Learning aid to create jigsaw puzzles QUICKLY for use within the classroom. I use Tarsia a lot and even laminate them for use over and over, year in year out! This guide would be perfect to use for in-school training to get more staff to make use of the program, as it can look a little daunting at first. The guide briefly introduces how to make your first Tarsia puzzle and gives hints and tips for the classroom. Any questions, please let me know. Enjoy...

What's the Question - Engaging and Adaptable MATHS starter! ANY AGE!

(0)
This 10 slide PowerPoint is a range of SIMILAR starter or plenary activities. See the video preview below. Can be used OVER and OVER again, so well worth the dollar. The first slides are grids with ANSWERS. Your students need to give the QUESTIONS. Great for questioning, great for differentiation/selecting specific students to answer. There's a version of the same starter which involves splitting your group into two teams to make the activity even more engaging. The slides are fully interactive to allow you to change the numbers RED or BLUE depending on which team gets a point. To ensure longevity of the resource, and the ability to use it LOADS of times with the SAME group, the starters have also been adapted to give questions for students to answer, just to shake things up a bit. Enjoy!

Python Programming - Lesson 1 - Print Function and Introduction to Variables FULLY RESOURCED LESSON!

(0)
THIS RESOURCE USES PYTHON VERSION 3. There are subtle differences between version 2 and 3, I believe. It's free to download though, so maybe update your systems. This is the first of my new resources on Python Programming. I'm teaching this to low ability year 9, though I know my higher ability year 7 would love it and I've also seen Python used within some primaries. It's suitable for any novice programming teacher. It includes everything to introduce Python's print function and basic variables. The lesson is fully resourced and will last at least a full hour, if not longer. If you're an absolute beginner, this is ideal. Just read it through and print before teaching - that's it! Look out for my other Python programming resources as part of this series. Enjoy.

Serif Movie Plus help sheet - How to create a movie from saved images - FUN End of Term lesson!

(0)
A single, well designed help sheet that guides students through the process of creating a movie using images they have saved on their work areas using Serif Movie Plus. This is IDEAL if you've got Serif Movie Plus installed on your network, but don't know quite how to use it! Give students this sheet and get them to work it out independently. I've had some great results from this, students loved it too. Great end of term fun activity if students can choose their own topic of movie. Enoy.
Reward Coupon - Teacher IOU Template - 8 per page - Positive Behaviour

Reward Coupon - Teacher IOU Template - 8 per page - Positive Behaviour

(1)
Easy to fill in coupons to reward positive behaviour or good work. 8 per page, so they're small enough to print a shed load and have them at hand when marking or teaching. Teachers just need to fill in the 'IOU' circle with the reward being given (we use VIVOs and just fill in IOU 10 Vivos, but this could easily be house points, commendations etc.) A tangible method of rewarding your students - they do something good, they something immediately. I get students to fill their name in on the coupon and 'post' them to me so I can reward later in the day when it's more convenient! Enjoy, for free!

Blank Timetable Template - can be edited electronically - 6 period day

(0)
Exactly what the title says! A blank, 6 period day, timetable template. Useful to give to students to copy up their weekly timetable or for teachers to display on the wall to show primary classes which lessons are scheduled for when. Uploaded as a Word document so it can be coloured/typed on to suit. There's a five period day uploaded separately if that helps! Enjoy!
